Sun and Rain at Beachy Head - iPhone 4
No editing at all with this picture, uploaded straight from the iPhone using the official Flickr application. Bit blown out in the white clouds, but the sky was this half black and half bright white, so I can forgive a mobile phone camera for getting a bit caught up with the exposure.
Caught the transition between glorious sun and heavy rain. Really not bad for the iPhone 4 me thinks. The richness of the colour in the fields is pretty striking.
This is just a few minutes walk from the Beachy Head restaurant with Seven Sisters then Seaford Head in the background. I live on horizon, lit up by the sun.
The improved camera and video is well worth getting the iPhone over other smartphones in my opinion. I use the iPhone camera now more than my year old Lumix.
‘June Bloom’ with iPhone 4
Just had to share this photo, I think this really shows how awesome the new camera is on the iPhone 4. Please take time to visit the Flickr link and look at the larger sizes and zoom in.
The Depth of Field, the colour, the sharpness are all quite super duper. Having moved up from the 3G, not the 3GS, the leap has been higher than moving up from the 3GS, but it’s still pretty fab.
It’s rather special.
